Game #25 The Win......Ooops

Where's my boy Rooster? This is by far our biggest game of the year We had to have had this one circled after our home loss. Our team should be pumped and focused knowing they truly have a great shot at winning their first BSC game of the season and I believe our first win of the year!

Purple, this is a game against Presby. Are you saying that Liberty is
predestined to win this game???

Unless we exercise our free will to lose it.

Will we shamefully and laughably storm the court if we win?

Which will make storming the court even that more sweet.

Regarding the article by Lang above. The part in which Layer made a point to say, 'we finished the game strong' (I'm paraphrasing) -- My opinion on that is: its easy to finish the game strong when the outcome has basically already been decided and the pressure to compete in the middle of the heat of the battle is basically over. How many times in last few years did we see LU get behind only to have Purple Haize favorite player (JC Sanders) - totally a joke PH - score a bunch of points late to make the final outcome not nearly as bad as it probably should have been?? "oh but we finished strong"
If you want to turn the corner or have faith in the win, the first 4 minutes, the last 4 minutes of !st half -- the 1st 4 of 2nd half will indicate whether LU is in Clinton to be gritty enough for a W!

I believe in every game we have lost, there was about a 10 minutes stretch that we played good. Some games it was early, some games it was late.
But in reality, if we beat the Blue Hose, what have we accomplished ? I doubt if anyone has Blue Hose penciled in the Bracket of 64. Now granted, it would end losing streak, but there's not much difference between 1-11 or 0-12 in conference. This is not a team that's on the verge of turning things around. Some of the comments I read coming from interviews would make one think it's the 2nd week of the season, not February.
Regardless of when we win again, or who we beat, we are offensively challenged.

Normally I like short posts, but I had to extend that one a little. There's a lot of "sugar-coating" taking place in some circles.

Totally disagree, no LU coach wants to match Hanky's
zero for the Big South record from 1998-1999: Hanky was 0-10 that year.

Absolutely correct. There is a if difference between winning one game and 0 games. Same goes in the other direction There is a huge difference between being undefeated and having one loss. Ask the Patriots

I will be glued to my telephone following the LU softball game vs. South Alabama. I will check basketball score every few minutes if I can get a signal.
Is it on 88.3, 105.9, 106.3, 97.1, 93.3, 98.2, 90.1, 97.9 or some other channel. I wish 88.3 would carry all the games. That's only station that has a good signal over 5 miles outside Lynchburg.
