2/4 @ 4-3 Winthrop
2/6 @ 3-4 Presby

I'm optimistic. I like our chances in the Presby's rematch!

I was looking at schedule yesterday, the Campbell @ LU game stood out as maybe our next win. I believe date is February 10.

Probably not unless we get back Gielo and Retic.

Next year with the new coach.

Do we have any NAIA, D2 or D3 teams on next season's schedule ?

I don't see LU beating Presby in Clinton- especially with Retic out.. Blue Hose are playing very well since Murray's return and they've always played tough at home. If you couldn't beat them at home, you're likely not to beat them at their place.

November when Randolph is on the schedule again (I assume they will be unless a new coach doesn't want it)

Maybe we should play Randolph and Lynchburg College.


Those should be the only non D1 teams we play. we should only play them because they are our neighbors.

I'll weigh in for Rooster......Tonight when we play Radford

Next season. At some point the team is going to give up and I dont think Layer has the ability to get them back. They have been a part of some bad teams as of late and they dont see a bright future. Every one keeps saying there is no talent on this team. I do disagree with that and think there is enough talent to be competitive in the Big South. I am still a Flames fan and I will cheer for this team no matter what. I just want to see better basketball that is all.

I dont think there is no talent...just the talent that is there is being mismanaged which frustrates me about this bunch

In a situation like y'all are in, your team is more likely to rally and win away from home. Makes the game here on 2/21 far from a cupcake for us.

I have been thinking . If we do win a game , then what ?

We celebrate the victory and then move on to the next one. Do we have to do something special?

We lose every game until the Big South Tournament... We win every game and get to the "Big <Joke> Dance"... and Layer gets a contract extension.

I would love for this team to not win another game until the Big South conference tournament where we run off 4 in a row and then Layer marches into JB's office and demands an extension and a raise.

It would be an impressive feat. No coach in LU MBB has gone to 2 NCAA tourneys. And to do so without regular season success would be a stunner'.

One thing about it, we're still alive until we get eliminated, thus there is hope.
