I guess if you're going to go with a dog for a mascot, a Terrier is a little more unique than the Bulldogs.

We are up 20-16 with 6 min left in the half. Gielo has not played, and since I have live stats only I have no idea why.

I tuned in late to the TV broadcast, so I don't know why, but Gielo is in street clothes.

You guys need to get on twitter. Lang broke the news on Tomasz being out due to a stress reaction in his leg. He is "week to week."

Ezra Talbert has played some this game, his first game action of his career.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. I spend too much time on electronic crap already.

Granted, I'm partial to SCAR but this Color Commentator is frightful. He is very condescending in the way he describes the action. His insights are Capt Obvious level (which means ballcoach will like him) and his inflection and tone remind me of Stephen A Smith, whom I loathe. But other than that he does a swell job.
PxP is spot on.

As for the team.......l

Cheap shot by Retic. If you are going to give that extra push just walk away, don't stare them down afterwards.

Basketball is just brutal to watch. I am not a fan of our style of play. It would be halfway bearable if we were a winning program, but the fact that we lost more often then not makes it even worse...

I have to say that losing to St. Francis at home in front of 500 people by 10 makes me think of Hankinson era. It all seems like a waste of time at this point. The beautiful arena, the HD production, the nice uniforms even the great floor and then the team comes out and can't score points against barely a division 1 team in St. Francis. It is hard to watch as a fan, as a former, player, coach and broadcaster. I feel really bad for Dale because I like him so much and I really want this staff to succeed. This program may be at an ALL-TIME LOW.

Wow scar. Coming from you that kind of statement says a lot. I am concerned to say the least.

It's refreshing to have him unchained from The Man isn't it?

To me worse than having an irate fan base is having an apathetic one. I know football is in the midst of an historic run but the lack of fans in the seats at Vines is just not good. Not to mention the lack of posters in the Men's Hoops forum on here especially during games. I did a game at Asheville last weekend over thanksgiving break and the students weren't in town but there was a decent crowd. Some of that was due to Charlotte coming into town and some due to Rowsey being must see entertainment for that city. It is very disappointing to tune in to MASN and see what took place. Especially after watching VCU go toe to toe with Virginia in Siegel Center. That is what college basketball atmospheres are supposed to be like. I wish that were the Vines Center.

That was the final but it was a pretty tight battle for 36 min. UVA had a nice run in the end. UVA has a lot of guys that can make shots this season. With that Pack Line D of Dick Bennett that Tony implements, they are going to win a TON of games this year.

It was a very exciting game and an unbelievable atmosphere. I hope they continue the series

I'll be honest, as a first year Flames fan, if I were not a big sports nut I would have zero interest in this team. What are the chances Layer survives and coaches another year?
