A good test for us early in the season against a Delaware team that has a ton of new faces just like us. Students, go support the team before you go home. It should be a good game.

It won't be cold in Vines so maybe the students will show up.

There may have been more students for the Randolph game than for the CSU game.

I don't doubt that at all.

I think Delaware may struggle a bit tomorrow. They lost three 20 pt scorers from last season, Usher, Saddler, Threat. Ryan Anderson was also a double figure scorer and a big time three point shooter and he is back this year...But I heard last night from CAA Deputy Commissioner Ron Bertovich that Anderson broke his hand and is out 6 weeks. He told me it wouldn't surprise him if UD had to start 3 freshman. They will be talented because my boy Monte' knows how to recruit talent but they will be young. A winnable game for sure for the Flames. Even though I should be headed to Norfolk in preparation for my game at ODU, I'm headed in the opposite direction tomorrow to see the Flames!

Wow, I hadn't heard that. Big blow for the Hens.

If all goes well, I will make my Vines Center debut for this season tonight. Want to see the new players.

Why Ethan layer why. Missed open 3. Then fouls a jump shooter on a 3.

Ethan is clearly not capable of playing at this level. Why does Coach Layer use a 10+ man rotation until conference play every year? Play your best players and let them develop some chemistry!

Look very poor so far tonight. It is almost like we are trying to take the ball as far away from the basket as possible before shooting it. Shooting about 25% from the field. Agree, Layer is not a very good player, not sure he is on scholarship though?

30-30 at the half after Retic nails a 3 on an excellent set with 5 seconds remaining

I don't think Layer is on scholarship; he shouldn't be. I believe that since he went to LCA, he got at least a partial scholarship anyway.

The team definitely looks more athletic, and is more aggressive at attacking the basket. I like what I've seen from Andoh and James Johnson. Gielo and Retic both seem more aggressive and have improved. Smith has not improved and should come off the bench. Andoh is a better player.

Let's have a good second half.

Retic has looked good for sure. Johnson has taken a couple of very silly fouls and is sitting on the bench as a result. Can't help the team much from there. Looks like he will be a player though.

Can we finish? Looks like a few guys are trying to win it on their own and not taking good shots, need to play team ball.

Layer counts as a scholly. You all are just now coming to the realization he's not a D1 player? He'd be great at a D3 school

Good to see the guys not collapse, they almost did, but came back and won a tight one.
