Liberty picked to finish 9th in the 11 team Big South. Coastal preseason favorite.

I believe we will surprise this year. With Retic at PG and Moeller at the 2 we will increase our offensive capabilities. James Johnson solidifies the post and Gielo will have a breakout year. My prediction is a top 4 finish. I reserve the right to edit this after I watch the scrimmage tonight :D

I agree, I think we may surprise some as well. I think we can finish in the top half.

After watching scrimmage tonight I stand by my prediction. The team has depth at every position, great height, strong defenders and some good shooters. Top 4 finish in BSC.

A healthy UNCA is too low and an already beat up Winthrop is too high. The rest of the poll seems about right. We both have a lot to prove. We've got to find some outside scoring to compliment Hill and Nelson in the post or it will be a long year.

The bar is pretty low. We have 3 or 4 non D1's and anything fewer than 20 loses will be an improvement.

PC will finish higher than expected.

I could see a major log jam in the 4-7 positions.
