Still not finding much on Kavon with the different spelling, but here are some stats from last year

Yeah, unless the spellingis way off he is definitely flying below the radar online.

Just because someone says on twitter he's committed to Liberty doesn't mean there's been any contact by our coaches, much less an offer.

This is true, but if a kid is going to make something like this up, you would think he would shoot a bit higher.

The fact that we haven't offered doesn't explain the lack of virtually any data on a player who apparently averaged double digit scoring playing for a public school in a major eastern metro area last year. The radar is better than that. I'm really thinking we still have not hit on the correct spelling of his name.

He is not only not on our grid; verbalcommits does not even have a profile on him under either of the spellings of his name we have had posted here.

The spelling on this thread is correct - Kavon Sclaffod, and he averaged 14 points per game last season.

The top player in his league committed to Quinnipiac (Abdulai Bundu). There was another player in his league that averaged 23 ppg, and doesn't have a profile on the all powerful verbal commits either (Davon Taylor).

If you look at his twitter, he has our logo at the top, but there's also a ton of sketchy stuff and even retweeted porn. Doesn't really seem like someone who would come to LU on his own dime. Also, I don't even know if Layer has open tryouts for walkons. Of all the walkons we have had since he came the only one I am not sure was recruited is Tanner Hoyt.

I have to say this is a bit strange, and yes it does look like the name on this thread is spelled correctly, which makes it even stranger that there is so little out there on a player who averaged over 14ppg as a Junior playing in the greater DC area.
