It is my understanding that we have a bunch of hoops recruits in this weekend. Hopefully we give them a great experience to ponder when they return home.

I hate highlight tapes. What's the skinny on the kid? His competition didn't look great. I though I saw PA out there guarding him.

no trust me this kid is the real deal..he has recently been informed that if he plays another game of high school ball that he would be ineligible for his 1st year in college...this could seriously help Liberty's chances..

I don't have the inside scoop on this kid, but this is common for reclassified kids. Essentially if the NCAA rules that you aren't eligible to play then any game action would impact eligibility on the college side similar to what we have seen with some international recruits.

The big question now is whether or not he will qualify in time to arrive in the fall semester. I have no idea about his academics but he was playing as a 2016 kid.

I do not know the whole story but this kid at some point during high school came over from Africa and apparently high school over there starts earlier so technically he has already played 4 years of high school basketball...that's the extent of what I know..but apparently JMU informed him if he plays another game he cant be eligibile till his sophomore year
