Will you be up in the Presidents Box or have you been banned

FWIW I'm not a fan of the Presidents box but that's another thread

Last night during Arizona vs Arizona State game. Announcer, Hall of Famer, world champion Bill Walton said not once but twice during the second half. "Offense wins championships" whoever can create or make shots will win this game.

Just sayin PH, just sayin!

How many Championship teams has he coached. I can't help it you were proved wrong. You can win games scoring in the 60's.

How many have you coached???

I have played on one & coached another. So I have some experience, thank u so much!

Big South games so far probably 1 for 70ish on scoring 62 or less and winning. Winthrop over VMI is only game. Enough said.

Yet you keep talking trying to make it true. Teams routinely score in the 60's and win games. While you want a good balance you would rather have a team better defensively than offensively. We've been round and round about it. I just don't feel the need to post scores of games won by teams scoring in the 60's. Why? Because I'm right and have nothing to prove. You are the one who continually brings it up hoping your boisterousness will change the fact.
As for Championship teams, Upwards playoffs start soon and I think we have a good shot.

My wish my Upward team can play yours. Maybe we can get FTN & Scar to do the game.

Okay my last comment ever regarding the offense - defense debate.
Clemson-UVA today.

Both are Great at defense! or scoring defense or playing slow like some people call it.

I bet the team that wins will make more shots or free throws. Even tho the score may be 35-33. One team will score more points make more shots, etc. etc. etc.

I would go even further and say the team that wins keeps the other team from scoring more points than they do!

I really think that as simplistic as this may sound, it may also depend on the quality of the shots as well...if one team made 35 shots and one team made 34, but the team that made 34 made 17 3s while the team that made 35 made 34 2s and 1 3, the team that made fewer shots actually wins the game, so its not always who makes more, but what kind of shots that they make as well

Hope the flames keep the score close,it seems when they get down, that they don't play together to catch up. The flames seem to be more into this game than their last one

Sanders back to Marshall for a forced 3 with 16 seconds left. Our Senior back court is continuing to disappoint

Agreed. I start Marshall, Retic, Smith, Burrus, and Gielo. Sanders is too wild, he is always making great moves to get inside and then blowing it.
