I mean I dont have a problem with him having an opinion but the way he is handling expressing it is exactly why Scorcho basically put a sort of permaban on him (might have to get Bearly to ban his IP)

This may seem odd, but I personally have never been a fan of banning anyone. I would prefer everyone act with a certain decorum. And frankly, in spite of an agenda there really hasn't been any over-reach in the recent discussions. One could certainly argue that the topics are played out and annoying. But I haven't seen posts that have been vicious or contrary to the values of the board. It seems the Foe function of the board software could eliminate most problems for those feeling the most frustrated. But I actually enjoy having a view voices of dissent in our midst. But that is just my two cents.

I appreciate a voice of reason.

i actually dont have a problem with him..yes its annoying..and very repetitive..but if you dont want to talk about RD then simply just ignore Lburglifer and his comments.. the best way to get rid of these arguments is to ignore him..not kick him out..we simply fuel his fire everytime by arguing with him..myself included. I have firsthand experience from that regime so I can call him out when he is spitting BS..which is very common

I say ban him unless he changes his name to 1TrickPony! Since he only has one view of anything. Haha

I'm with SLY. Sure he embellishes the facts and has blinders on but I'm not sure those are ban-able offenses.

I don't agree with banning anyone simply because we don't like their opinion regardless of how annoying it is.

Banning someone for being overly vulgar is one thing, banning someone because we don't like their opinions is overkill.

Just my 2 cents

I enjoy the drama.

Banning in any shape or form will never work unless the person is very lazy. Example: me.

Even banning an IP address won't work, all one has to do to get around that is use a proxy server.

this.
Banning also legitimizes the stereotype of narrow mindedness

Thanks guys for your replies. Lburglifer will not be banned. If you don't like what he has to say you can add him as a foe.
