Today's print story, some focus on Casey Roberts, some focus on the game itself:

Not off to the greatest start, at 18-5 for CSU.

wow. what in the world is happening to this team. This is embarrassing. I guess the good thing is we were terrible last year too..and somehow pulled a tourney appearance out of our butts.

So a loss this bad to a team that plays in a middle school gym means changes have to be made right...right?

A loss this bad to a middle of the pack big south school no matter what kind of gym they play in warrants some serious soul searching.
The talent on this team isn't THAT bad. Maybe these guys simply don't believe in their coach or maybe they simply don't believe in eachother. It is sad either way.

You think the LU talent is better than what we are watching? CSU was without their point guard and the perimeter talent was a mismatch today.

That was really hard to watch from the very beginning. I can't figure out why they played so badly today. Strickland was on fire for Charleston Southern in the beginning…
It is unrealistic to think this team is going to put a solid week together in March. I really think they need to turn it around ASAP.

Bad game. Effort and energy were pathetic in the first half, excluding Smith. Burrus, Marshall, and Sanders were a combined 6-28 (21%) from the field. Outstanding senior leadership. Not going to win any games like that. Coronado with only 2 rebounds was a surprisingly poor effort. On a positive note, Smith had an awesome game! Check out his stat line. He should have played a lot more the last two years. Hopefully his injury is not serious. Alcegaire looks like another athletic player who could be very good, but Layer chooses not to play. Don't blame this loss solely on turnovers. It was mainly a result of poor shooting and horrendous defense. Charleston Southern had 13 turnovers to our 12. This team could be good, as evidenced by a win over Sam Houston State (now 16-6) and a two point loss to Missouri State (now 15-7), but team chemistry is currently nonexistent. Can the Flames get it together before the end of the year?

Should Marshall be benched?

Yes I believe the guys on this team are way better than they have been performing. Is that really a groundbreaking opinion?

I just don't see it and other than one week in last two years no one has. While your opinion of "way better" is not groundbreaking
It is hard to find any string of performance to support.

You can always expect the homeschooled kid to be helpful, Chris.
