Got a nice hot bowl of Campbell's chicken noodle soup and ready to watch the game
What will make me sicker: team play or SCAR's color commentary

Isn't the object of the game to work the ball inside to improve your chances of scoring, instead of working the ball around the perimeter for 30 seconds and take a 3 pointer or similar shot? I know I am an old timer, so I didn't know if things have changed that much over the years or not. Statistically, is it still true that the closer you get to the basket, the better chance you have to score?

Actually statistically you can shoot a worse percentage from 3 than from 2 and still score more points. If I shoot 10 shots from the paint and make 5 I have 10 points. If I shoot 10 shots from 3 but only make 4 I have 12 points
I will say this team is much more successful working from inside out. We started out getting Super G (just made that up) the ball and got a nice lead. We went away from that and now are in a dog fight.
Next up the most dangerous stretch for our team....the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half

It's nice to see Sanders be successful without dribbling the air out of the ball. Maybe I DO have a chance for success in Upward!
Did I mention Presbyterian is awful?

Thanks Haize, I probably would have never figured that out without you. I will still take a team that works the ball towards the basket, than outside shooting. Didn't see any of the second half but the last 2 minutes of the game. Those dunks were pretty high percentage shots.

The biggest takeaway from film sessions in between the two games was this: Liberty needs Sanders, who tends to try to do it all sometimes, to play under control and be a facilitator for a team that lacks a true pass-first point guard.

“Coach kind of challenged me to kind of change up my approach to games and how I make decisions on the court,” Sanders said. “I took it to heart, watching film with coach [Brian] Joyce, trying to make the necessary adjustments
.”

What took him so long and hopefully it will still hold true when he plays better competition.

2600+ faithful fans :D PC not very good. They have no room for error. Missing Dillard and having a short and a weak bench will keep them from beating even most BSC team.

A few wins could get the train on the tracks. The BSC is just not as strong at the top as in years gone by and just as bad at the bottom.
