Not the same team without Alan Cheney.

Agreed...to use a phrase oft mentioned by Colin Cowherd, this team is a "dumpster fire" They have 2 wins since December 1 and only one of them is against a D1 team and that is Longwood.

This game's not about High Point. It's about Liberty. If we play like we did the first half of Campbell, it's a comfortable win. If not, it will be decided in the final minutes.

I get that manson...this is a chance for us to make another statement with a big win against a team that while down, has had our number the last couple seasons

Exactly.. we will be fine if we don't beat ourselves with terrible shot selection, turnovers, etc.

This is an important stretch of games for Liberty to pick up some wins. I am not saying that these games are easy wins, but winnable. We will see if we can gain some confidence, turn a couple pages forward, and work out some of these past ugly kinks from out of our system.

Btw, any recent progress reports on Burris and his earlier back problems incurred in the new year? He has been limited in his playing time lately, but is he getting back to full health? Knock on wood, I guess we could be only a couple injuries away from being in High Point's season situation.

can't wait for the game. I see a future 4 game win streak. That is if we can get the 1 on Saturday. The 2 games following should be a cake walk.

Well if you win tomorrow and then the next 2 that is actually a 5 game win streak. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. High Point is coming off a 83 point scoring night and they will play up against Liberty. Liberty has never won at Longwood in history.

I think we win this one but on a sidenote I can't help but shake my head that we have never won a game at Longwood. That is just sad. We need to change that.

According to the local paper, JC Sanders only needs 3 points to pass brother Jesse in scoring for #15 in LU's history (cue Purple's rant about how there's more to the game than just scoring in 3, 2, 1...). :blahblah

Wes comes in at the 10:13 mark. Leaves at the 9:36 mark. Really?
For Roberts who doesn't even know what defense we are playing

I didn't expect this.......hard game to figure out, sometimes.....you get a win in Lex., drop a home game to a team still trying to find its identity......we lose to you at home, win at Radford, give away the game @ Campbell.....you should take care of business @ Longwood, hope we can come back vs. High Point.
