If we can win this one it will be a quality win. Hopefully the boys learned how to win in the last game and can keep the momentum going. This should be a much tougher challenge........... Nevermind. I was looking at their overall record, not who they played. Still, any win is a good one. Hope we get it.

I am pleasantly surprise with this win. Since these games weren't televised it's hard to tell if we are playing better or not but either way it's nice to get a couple D1 wins under our belts.

Well maybe you should offer yourself as a consultant for scheduling to JB...basketball is even more beholden to schedule strength and RPI than football. getting games like Clemson like we had a few years ago is going to take VERY special circumstances...like the Tipoff marathon or something because a lot of your bigger names even at the mid major level aren't going to schedule a lot of games on the road with schools like Liberty because it really isn't worth it to them.

:BS RPI and SOS are quantitatively more important in football than in BB. D1 teams usually play sub D1's during breaks, like Christmas, to give the team someone easy to play and break the monotony. You don't have to worry about crowds because the students are gone anyways

There is no excuse to play a non-D1 team once the regular season starts. I know of no other team that does this. D2 and D3 and NAIA teams are your preseason exhibition games. Liberty needs to take one and done road games rather than Lower division games. The only reason to play a game like the coming one is if no other D1 team will play LU.
