If you have a ticket for the football game, you can get into the basketball game for free as well.

Live Stats
We're down by 7 early in the 2nd half and hitting just 31% from the floor.

After closing the gap midway through the second half, the Flames were never able to catch up down the stretch.

If we shoot like tonight, it will indeed be challenging. Fortunately I believe we are better than a 3-of-13 squad from behind the arc on most nights.

Thats a bad loss. Our offense is just putrid. Marshall and jc are really being bothered by bigger defenders and the bad shooting percentage was because we had very few open looks. Not impressed with layer roberts or coronado one bit. We still struggle with athletic teams yet dale will not play our most athletic player consistently. Andrew smith needs to be playing 25 to 30 min every game. He adds somethin nobody else on our roster has. Gielo needs to give up the jumpers and stay inside. Its year 3 and his percentages are still awful. This team is slightly better than last year but not much

Not being negative, I like JC and Marshal. Just stating we need bigger quicker 1/2 guards. Our guys are getting outmatched by guys that are bigger and faster and if they get stuck with another defender on a switch, they are found in a tough position. A 5'11 guy playing a 6'3 or 6'4 guy is going to be tough. Especially on a switch when they have to guard a 3 or 4 that is 6'5 to 6'8". (Of course a switch to a center will cause problem for any 1 or 2 guard.)

Jbock is being facetious...all of the near misses have left him (and quite a few others) bitter and jaded because of all the talk of moving to FBS.
Anyway its game 2...no need to jump off the bridge just yet. now we have this issue at game 22...thenthe bitterness can be justified

Winnable game for sure. Give WC credit for winning after traveling coast to coast playing 3 game and still winning a road game. LU should have more play makers.

can't speak of the game since it wasn't televised at all, but it seems this team is starting exactly like they did last year. Layer earned himself some time with a great run down the stretch last year but this is his year to shine. I hope we pick things up as the year goes on.
