Nice commit. He has good length and looks and looks very active in the video, plus he has a great mid range jumper. I wonder what led to the de-commit from Creighton (hopefully he sticks with us).

He quotes Bible verses on Twitter and apparently was blown away by his visit to LU over the weekend. These are the types of kids we should expect. Of course, stealing kids from Creighton is always a great sign.

Only thing I would have liked to see is more post moves. having an inside game to match his outside touch would make him downright dangerous

At 6'8" 190 you are not going to have a lot if ANY post moves other than MAYBE a turn around jumper.

you could have a quick dropstep to go with that turnaround (at least Id want my guys to have one if I was coaching), if for no other reason than to draw contact at the rim, especially if you can get a mismatch.

Either way, I'm excited to get a little more length out on the wing. We have been stuck in a 3-guard lineup for awhile and it'll be nice to start having some bigger guys out there playing the 3.

Really excited about this guy. Give him a couple years to grow and fill out and he could be a really nice wing for us if he can move his feet and defend a smaller player. This could be the best ssigning class since he who shall not be named was here.

At 190 on the D1 level he can't get post position to make a power drop step. He will be able to shoot over perimeter defenders though.

Ezra finished his HS career with a bang, scoring 20 points to lead the Kansas all-star team to a 115-90 win over the Missouri all-stars!
