LETS GO DANCING
Im guessing Jon Sciambi and Fran Frischilla but thats just a guess. I cant find anything online so I am tweeting Damien (our beat writer) and see if he can find out anything...course Id love to get Bob Valvano as part of it because he was part of the broadcast team when we won in 04

There is a pretty sizeable pool of announcers but if they want to keep all their broadcast teams together for Championship week from the regular season, we may get Mike Patrick on play by play as he has been with all year...course we may just get one of the ESPNU teams too

I'm not sure if it is possible to overstate what kind of unreal storyline that would create should that happen and we were able to ruin that Curry kid's weekend.

Dreaming, I know. Back to discussing tomorrow's game before I put the whammy on the whole thing.

If our girls hold off the tough and scrappy Campbell Lady Camels, we could have an all Liberty final as we had in 2004 and 1997. In 2004 there was a stat that said each time Liberty and CSU men played in the Big South tourney, one of them would win it all. In 2005 that was ammended to one would at least reach the finals when CSU lost in the finals to Winthrop and Gregg Marshall. Since then I am not sure if they have played in the tourney anymore. I will have to get someone to check that.

In 1997 the Staff was JM, RD, Paul Naz and Tim SCAR (I self imposed Haize's edict).

We lost that final to the 4 seed Charleston Southern in an upset. Here's to hoping we avenge that loss tomorrow.

We will probably get a play in game on Tue/Wed and if we win that....who cares! But we'd play probably IU Duke or Gonzaga

97 was also when I started to get really involved with a hot Hoochy Mama.....and parked in the Chancellors parking spot.

Well, assume you pull the big upset against CSU. You'll have to win in Dayton, and one of those 16 vs. 16 winners will stay in Dayton and likely play Indiana (if #1 in MW).

Outside of the FF in Atlanta, the entire southeastern US is getting the shaft in regards to the tourney. Closest first round sites are Rupp and Philly. No Greensboro, nothing in the state of Florida, no New Orleans, not even Knoxville or Raleigh. Strange.

Considering the fact that the ACC essentially get home court advantage into the Sweet 16 most years it is about time they started spreading the wealth around the nation. But the last thing on our minds at this point is anything beyond tomorrow's game. Just to be in this position after the regular season is improbable for most of us.

I for one see a major Evangelic Christian flaw in playing a championship game between 2 baptist schools on a Sunday.... Not really but just thought I throw that out there.

LU been playing good ball the last 2 weeks, it should be a barn burner... All pressure is on CSU.
