Definitely a winnable game. Good win on the road for you guys at VMI on Saturday too. I think Chris Holtmann is a really good coach and a good guy.

Thanks SCAR. We are happy with Holtmann for sure, just hope he hangs around GW for awhile. He has finally turned the corner cleaning up the mess that Scruggs left. We still are young with only two seniors. The future is promising. Any time you can win in that literal den of iniquity known as Cameron Hall, you are doing something right.

Everyone only has 2 seniors, so in that regard every team is young.... GW best 2 players are seniors, so is Coastal's/ VMI best player is a senior / Radford & Liberty has 1 senior, Longwood & HP loses no one.. UNCA is young, will lose Atkinson, PC loses best player & CSU loses 2, Winthrop loses Gamble... The league gets better next year... Deeper and tougher.... But GW loses 2 really good players over 1/3 of their scoring... Better win big now Bulldogs (but I agree Chris is coaching them up and they always play hard)

their best player is redshirting actually, Hibbert. Him and Harper should do damage next year esp with the way Harper is developing. Plus they were playing their best basketball without Newsome earlier. next year; no order, GWU, CSU, UNCA should be the top 3 teams next year.

High Point has everyone back and they got a 6'9 beast sitting out... now depends on whose coaching them, but they have the roster set up to be good for a few straight years... CSU will drop off - losing Sexton & Mau will hurt. Gwebb losing hartley will hurt also -- that dude is top 5 shooter in league.

That dunk has a slight chance at making sportscenter.

Sounds like the Flames are playing well and have erupted on offense! I can't wait to watch it on DVR when I get home.

Did Van der Pol start for Coronado? JR only played 19 min but has 9 pts and 6 boards. Looks like he may have been in foul trouble? I was only following the ticker. On calls so I couldn't really listen to Allen either.

watched the replay on ESPN
starting lineup was Marshall, Speaks, Gielo, Coronado, & Vander Pol (reportedly his first start)

Are you sure about that starting lineup? That means Gielo played the 3 and JC didn't start? I had to work tonight in DC. Still here and still working. Big Project I am leading at work. The project will close either Thursday or Friday. I'm sure Paul Naz did a good job in my place. I should be back for the Radford game next Tuesday.

I copied the lineup right off the screen.
then again- we had a replacement TV crew so who knows...
thats why we count on you bro.
like losing LANG... I don't know what to believe anymore
EDIT: went back and listened while watching the screen: Mike says "Sanders" while the screen says "Coronado"
I guess someone switched 32 and 33

Looking at the box online it looks like the lineup included the usual guys with Van der Pol replacing Coronado.

I have a feeling this will not be the last time we see Andrew Smith in the top 10. That kid can make some spectacular plays. A little more consistency and confidence in his jumper and he will be a force for us.
