It's rumored that 4 Longwood student buses will be on there way to Lynchburg today for the game....

they've been annoying on twitter. never seen someone (aka RVAparks) try hype a series up. They should stick with Radford.

So how many rivals does Liberty supposedly have? I know its Coastal and Liberty and will always will be, at least until Liberty leaves the Big South. Always a classic battle, two of the best facilities and best sports in the league. At Gwebb they hype the battle of the baptist every time Liberty comes to town. Chuck South always has their white out when LU arrives, same with High Point. At least that's what they been doing the past couple of years in basketball and soccer. VMI, underrated rival as well.

If they end up having more fans then us tonight I will be absolutely sick. As a student it's time for a change of athletic culture around here.

I feel like our true basketbal rivals are Coastal, VMI and Radford. VMI is always an intense game. Radford was good a few years ago and back in the day. Coastal is intense too. But of course if we stink then it kind of takes the fun out of it.

sigh...I miss Jon, BrysOn, JDUB and all the craziness theyd cause... (after hearing the "Longwood Lunatics" at the game)

I'd put my money on LU (Longwood, that is). FWIW, we once had a great rivalry with Longwood, as some of the hags will remember. I made several trips out to Farmville for games.

Nice to get a dominating win tonight (on the same day IMBach was finally ushered out of the board too)

good win for sure. especially with all of the pre-game yapping from Longwood fans. if we could get some consistency from casey roberts i feel like we could make a good push the rest of the way.

When the team is playing well it looks like a team that has all the complimentary pieces without the star. They just don't have the number 1 scorer that can create his own shot and average 15 a game or so. Longwood is an embarassment and they got what was coming to them. I hope they lose every game the rest of the way. Parks is the most annoying poster on this board and his little twitter war backfired.

It must stink when when one of our worst teams still pummels Longwood by 25+ hahaha, that is satisfying.

Longwood isn't even be the best team in Farmville. Unfortunately, they lost the onions to play the cross town school and cancelled the annual matchup when they went D1. I guess they figured they would be embarrassed enough with the beatdowns they receive so often against D1 teams that a loss to a quality D3 team more than once in a blue moon would be too much. I mean goodness gracious, they only beat Central Penn by 13, they aren't even D3 or NAIA, they are USCAA! Central Penn has a community college on their schedule!
