looking at their record, this game looks like it will get out of hand pretty quickly.

Call me a glutton for punishment, but I am headed back up to Huntsville on a Father-Son day with Sly Jr. We are starting things off with lunch at the Holy Church of Barbecue followed by a manly trip through the Texas Prison Museum followed up by the game on a campus jazzed up for the FCS Playoffs. A manly day indeed.

Awesome day hanging around the sites of Virginian-born Sam Houston. Light crowd again this evening. I'll be the loud one you hear in the background. Limited updates due to low phone battery after a zillion pics.

Sly, if junior has plans of coming to LU and joining our mostly home-schooled Quiz Bowl team, make sure he knows his Sam Houston bio, because that question comes up all the time!

We're down by only 6 at the half, listening to the broadcast on the radio.
I tried the link in both Explorer and Firefox, but all I'm seeing is a small black screen. I've hit refresh a few times, but that's not helping.
Anybody having any better luck watching the game on these new-fangled computers?

We trail 31 to 25 at the half. Somewhat of a pleasant surprise, as this team beat Cal Irvine. Coronado leading the way with 7 points and 4 rebounds.

I guess I'm bad luck. Turned the game on for the 2nd half and it stayed close for 2 minutes. Their press is destroying us. 0-6.

That worked for me--thanks, SeoulFlame!
Flames lose another one, 74-56, but JC Sanders scored 15 points, and JR Coranodo had another big rebounding night with 9 boards.
Post-game comment from Coach Layer:
That's the best press in the country!

We played much better tonight than we did against UC Irvine when I was in Huntsville two nights ago. We still desperately need some offense in the paint. If we can ever give the opposition a reason to pack it in then we will be able to run with some teams. We have shooters but they all have hands in their faces once they hit half-court. Some of the threes we made tonight had a very high level of difficulty.
Here are some pics from tonight's game I have posted on Facebook:
