This thread is to show the historical attendance of Liberty University and all subsequent discussion of these numbers is hereby allowed.

also, the year is year ending. so the 2010-2011 season is represeted as simply '2011'.

and the thing about the Meyer era is there were a whole lot less students which makes those numbers that much more impressive

Out attendance numbers have always been..interestingly tallied. However, the last couple of years they have done a much better job putting a counting system in place.

If I may just state, yes this years number stink (around 1500) but remember we played a ton of home games during thanksgiving and Christmas breaks (and 2k sports)

Thats a good point.

Plus one of those "home" games was not only over break, but at Randy Mac.

Anyone who was here during the mid to late 90s doesn't need to look at the numbers to know that the attendance and overall atmosphere at the Vines was at a whole different level than it has been lately.

Thats complete crap attendance was never very good or RD or anybody else at least while I was around lynchburg (2003-2009)

I Remember this same conversation at the Firehouse. I will re-post my idea...lasers!! Some engineering or comp sci major could make this happen...You put two of those beams at each door...You'll know by the order of the beams breached if a person came in or out. You network the lasers...and at halfime, you could post the largest amount of people in the building at one time as attendance. Plus it sounds cool...Tonight's Liberty Red laser attendence is...
