Just a friendly neighborhood visit from your ticket office.

This was an email sent to season ticket holders with information on the possibility of hosting an opening round game as a #7 or #8 seed on Monday, February 27th. I listed the main points up top. Scroll down to see the email in full. If after reading the whole thing and you still have questions, email me at jrrixon@liberty.edu. Just trying to be proactive before all heck breaks lose tomorrow with the tiebreaker possibilities. GO FLAMES!

IMPORTANT THINGS:

1. If we host a first round game, the Lady Flames game scheduled for 7:00 PM will be moved to 5:00 PM, the men's opening round game will be played at 8:00 PM.

2. If you have women's season tickets - just use those for Monday's game and see both. You can even stay in your seats.

3. If you are a men's season ticket holder only, preorder your tickets! You should have recieved an email with the preorder form attached. Once the Flames game goes final, if we are hosting - we will start assigning those seats. You will be able to see both games with those tickets. You can bring it by the office tomorrow or email it to us at tickets@liberty.edu. Only season ticket holders have the ability to preorder tickets.

4. Once the game against Campbell ends (we will have held our own fate by then), we will go on sale almost immediately if we host. You can stop by the ticket windows on your way out from the game (we will stay open approximately 30 minutes), online by going to https://www.ticketreturn.com/prod2/Buy. ... ntID=75581 (it will have updated information posted by then), or you can purchase them Monday by phone at (434) 582-SEAT (7328) or at the Vines Center. One ticket will get you into both games.

5. If the scenario plays out that we finish as a #5 or #6 and do not host an opening round game, the Lady Flames game will go on as scheduled at 7:00 PM. If you filled out the preorder form we will shred it.

Here is the email in full:

Flames Fans,

Due to additional teams being added to the Big South Conference prior to the 2011-2012 Men’s Basketball season, the tournament format has been adjusted to include two “play-in” games, in which the #7 and #8 seeds in the Advance Auto Parts Big South Championship play the #9 and #10 seeds respectively for the last two spots in the quarterfinals in Asheville, NC.

Based on your Flames positions in the standings currently, your Flames can finish anywhere between #5, where they would go straight to the Big South Quarterfinals in Asheville, NC or #8, where they will host an opening round game here at the Vines Center on Monday, February 27th at 8:00PM.

If your Flames host an opening round game on Monday, February 27th, the time of the Lady Flames game scheduled for that night at 7:00 PM would be moved to 5:00 PM. Due to the circumstances, ticket policies will be slightly different than usual. Please read the following information carefully to assure that your game day experience is as easy and hassle-free as possible.

If you have Women’s Basketball Season Tickets:
Women’s basketball season ticket cards as well as their seat locations will be honored for both games. Women’s season ticket holders simply need to present their card to be scanned as they usually would and can remain in those seats for both the Lady Flames game at 5:00 PM and the Men’s Opening Round game at 8:00 PM.

If you had Men’s Basketball Season Tickets ONLY:
You must purchase tickets to attend the Advance Auto Parts Big South Opening Round Game in order to attend. Please find the attached form to pre-order your tickets. While we cannot guarantee the same location of these seats as your season tickets, we will do our best to provide you with seats as close as possible to you original location. If you have any additional requests in regards to seat location, please mention that on the form. You can fill out the form tonight and bring it with you to the games tomorrow, or you can email it to tickets@liberty.edu. If the Flames do not host an opening round game, your order/check will be shredded. PRE-ORDERED TICKETS WILL BE HONORED ADMISSION INTO THE WOMEN’S GAME AT 5:00 PM as well, so feel free to come to both games!

If the Flames are guaranteed to host a game tomorrow when their game against Campbell ends, tickets will be made available for sale at the ticket windows at the Vines Center until 30 minutes after the game is over. Tickets will also be made available for sale at LibertyFlames.com, in-person starting Monday at 9:00 AM at the Vines Center Ticket Windows or over the phone at (434) 582-SEAT (7328).

Fans are also reminded that if the Flames DO NOT host an opening round game, the game time for the Lady Flames game vs. UNC Asheville will remain unchanged at 7:00 PM.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Liberty University Ticket Office at (434) 582-SEAT (7328), tickets@liberty.edu or at the Vines Center Ticket Office.
