We steamrolled them tonight, but the two players were still on suspension, and Okoye was out after a concussion down at PC Thursday.

Even if Rodney, OK, and DJ play, I hope we can be competitive. VMI has yet to show any sense of urgency or excitability on the road all year. On the road VMI is the anti UNC-A {8-0}......VMI needs to win out to secure a top 6 finish. 10-8 will do it. 9-9 may do it.......

When do the suspensions end or are they already over?

That was the impression that I had. You guys are a completely different beast with everybody on the floor as opposed to the past few games.

If we win, we're tied with VMI for 6th place. I didn't see that coming. Good job by the team.

if we split with VMI and tye them in the standings, what is the tie breaker if it stays that way?

Head to head versus the one seed, if the same versus the two seed, on and on until the tie is broken.
At least I think that's how it is. You really want VMI to lose to CSU because that would give us the tiebreaker for CSU. But a win for VMI over CCU, and a loss by us to CCU would give VMI the tiebreaker. Complicated enough?

Yeah, you got it right jbock. Let's put it this way, if we win out in conference, we'll more than likely be #6.

Sort of, jbock. The tiebreaker goes down the line for teams that both teams involved played twice. So the results against Campbell don't matter because VMI only played the Camels once.
LU and VMI both would have played two games against:
Asheville (both went 0-2)
Coastal (both currently 0-1)
CSU (LU 1-1; VMI 0-1, still hosts CSU)
Winthrop (LU 0-2; VMI 1-1)
Presbyterian (LU 1-1; VMI 1-1)
Radford (both went 2-0)

Thanks Lang, didn't know they made that small tweak.

There's a fairly decent chance that the tie won't be able to be broken through that format. If VMI beats CSU and Coastal at home and LU beats Coastal at home, they'll be tied throughout.
Then it goes to RPI.
Per the Big South release:
(3) The team with the highest ranking on the
most recent College Basketball RPI Report (or the
NCAA’s RPI listing). Note - the Conference offi ce
will research to determine which rating is most
accurate/current.
Currently, VMI is No. 279 in ESPN.com's insider RPI. Liberty is No. 294.

What about Winthrop though? We were 0-2, VMI went 1-1. Wouldn't that give VMI the nod over us?
