I saw their game against Purdue earlier this year. Had it not been for a few mistakes they probably should have won. Another tough game for us.

Nic Barbour actually had a good look at a 3 at the buzzer in that game too. There are no easy games in conference this season I don't think.

Hard to believe Barbour is a senior already... won't be sad to see him go.

Whoever decided to go with the purple backdrops for their pictures should have been fired.

The week off has fueled the team, got their minds right. They are poised and prepared to win 7 of the last 10 conference games.

It will be interesting to see what High Point team shows up--the one that scored 15 pts in the first half against Radford or the one that jumped on Charleston Southern and could have beaten Purdue.

I've seen them 3 times this year. They lack size and a consistent interior presence. They will run through stretches on the offensive where they couldn't score a bucket if they were playing 5-on-1 and yet can come back from 26 or so pt deficit and cut it to one in a matter of minutes. They do play, but in my opinion, they get too few easy baskets and they seem to work too hard to get a mediocre shot.

Of the 2 games that I saw that they lost (CCU and Campbell), they had the opportunity to win, but they made some bad shots and/or decisions. The 1st half against CCU was painful and I vowed to leave after 5 minutes of the 2nd half if they couldn't play better (winning and losing doesn't bother me as much as pathetic play.) They jumped out quickly and wiped away the halftime deficit and played a good second half.

It will be an interesting game between 2 teams who need a win.

I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised in how we havebled since the outset. If we can maintain this through the second half we'll have a very nice road victory.

It just goes to show you as bad as things have been, this team still has the capability to make some noise if they get on roll.
