VMI isnt blowing up as much as they did in previous years with this system. Usually they have at least one guy right in the top 3-5 I think in scoring in the country (although the last couple years their leading scorer was at 18.4 ppg which actually sounds rather pedestrian as averages go, especially for a team that was at or near the top in scoring for quite a few years). Would love to see the guys rebound (no pun intended).

Game is basically out of reach so I'm turning it off. Down 18 with 10 minutes left.

If this keeps up maybe it is time to look elsewhere for a coach. I like Layer, but this is just not acceptable to me regardless of injuries

Duggar on the LU post game TV show: he calls Jesse Saunders the "head of the snake" that VMI had to "cut off."

Final Score
VMI 71
LU 57

I almost laugh how on every defensive rebound 3 of our guys fight each other over who gets the ball.

Would Longwood beat us? Wildcats - I'm not sure we have any room to trash talk. We are not good right now... We might not win a Big South Game all year?

I've got a bad feeling that after battling so hard, the guys are giving up and the wheels are coming off. I hope not.

Second chance points off of offense rebounds killed us tonight. The game is being rebroadcast on MASN now.

Is battling at this level uncommon?

Seemed like Joel and Antwan we giving VMI a problem but we would rather shoot our 25% perimeter shots. We definitely have more problems than injuries.

But in this weeks "battle of the bottom" Radford comes to the Vines with a 0-7 road record.

We were trying to "fight fire with fire". VMI is a high volume perimeter team (that's the way their offensive system works) and so many will basically try to outshoot them (and there are those that have, with good success). Unfortunately for us, those shots werent falling.
