Can't beat that price. I've been hearing that we might have Gielo in the lineup for that one if his recovery continues.

We will be back east visiting family for Christmas. I'll have to see if I can make that work.

FYI, tickets must be purchased in advance to receive the discounted price.

Yeh I agree the football is completely unrelated. But a win over us by UR does reinforce their position as a more viable overall Athletics program. Just the sad truth, you have to appreciate both sides as it is such a fresh issue. Likely not as pressing when the game gets here.

I usually miss the Black and Blue game but I am thinking of going this year. I thought it was on Saturday though. I will need to put in a request for a media pass or a comp ticket as this thing is always sold out. I think all VCU games are sold out or close to it and that was before the run to the Final 4.

It's been sold out for some time now. This is VCU's 7th straight sellout dating back to last season and we averaged 6,645 last year for our 7,500 seat facility. A club suite addition has pushed that up to 7,617 and we've continued to sellout under that new capacity. The CAA record for most consecutive sellouts in 9 and we're hoping to catch it.

It should be a good game! ESPN2 on Friday night with 2 Sweet Sixteen (one Final Four) programs a couple of miles apart. Should be a great atmosphere!

I have been to both venues alot over the past 4 years and it boggles my mind how bad the atmohere is at Richmond while VCU is electric.

Email to those within 60 miles should be dropping tonight or tomorrow. Be on the look out

VCU won by 22 tonight.

Richmond has some quality guards in Kendall Anthony and Cedrick Lindsay who are quick, athletic, and can create their own shots. Darius Garrett is a defensive force inside but not an offensive threat really. They have some experienced players and a good amount of talent. Coach Mooney has a great program going over there and I think it'll be a very tough game for you guys.
