Who would have thought that Jesse Sanders would become the best player for us out of that lot.

This depresses me....and doesn't get me excited for tonight's game.

Wasn't Jesse considering leaving after McKay bailed? I remember going to the press conference when Layer was introduced and the players that showed up look defeated, Ohman was the first was to bolt out.

He did consider it but thankfully he stuck. I think everyone involved believes he made the right decision.

To be fair, we had completely different circumstances in play for nearly every one of the departures. Whether it was homesickness or visions of NBA grandeur, it really is tough to look at them all collectively and derive much from the discussion.

One thing that you can ascertain with clarity is that there once was seven and six have left. Of the seven, I'm glad that Jesse is the one that remains.

No arguments here. And keep in mind that if Jesse left we probably wouldn't have John Caleb either.

Hate to say it and i know it wont be popular but im taking S Curry all day...imagine the coverage we would get with that kid compared to what we get now. I mean just look what was done his freshman year. Liberty was actually acknowledged on ESPN multiple times.

Nothing wrong with that choice. Seth is a very talented player and by nature of his genes comes with additional media exposure. I prefer to have a player that is focused on team success and wants to be at Liberty. That player is Jesse.

I hope it goes great for the team. There are facts. But now is time to root for the success of the season. Should end our six game losing streak tomorrow and build some confidence.

AD's are accountable at Mississippi and UCF.

You think we are in a stronger position as a program?

I think there has just been a lot of focus on Football lately, but now that we're kind of dominating the regular season there, they are starting to shift to basketball and baseball. I think we're going to have endure a few more mediocre years until the facilities get up to top level, then I'd look for our program to move again. Patience sucks!

I think we are moving in the right direction. Stability at the top finally is a good thing. One guy who left had been a non-factor for the most part (with apologies to Cider). The only other losses we had were due to circumstances beyond our control becauseyou dont plan for guys getting hurt and graduation. BTW you remind me and quite a few others Im sure of checkmate the eternal pessimist

Edit: Ok I fixed it...happy?!?

"Just like overuse of dashes, overuse of parentheses should be avoided. What you want to keep in mind is that by using parentheses, you're sending your reader the message that the information contained in them isn't as important as the rest of the sentence, or paragraph. If the information is important, maybe it would be better to work it into your sentence another way. If the information isn't that important, think about whether you need to include at all. Too many parentheses could give your reader the impression that nothing you have to say is important."
Just in case anyone would need this for reference.
