Hasn't started yet. If its supposed to be there by mid december, then my guess is by liberty terms that means the end of the season.

bear in mind that there have been a few things that would (I would think) preclude getting a lot of work done (like the David Crowder concert and still having convo in there and the last home volleyball game and the first home basketball game for both the men and the women...)

It's going to be mid January as announced at the last Flames Club luncheon.

fair enough,
and I haven't seen myself yet, because I haven't walked through the vines, but I hear that the entire "cloud" is taken down already. And we don't have convo on friday, which I would think has something to do with the construction.

Thank you jesus for no convo friday! (If true). I need any extra time for my papers that I can get.

Its listed as TBA on the Spiritual Life page so it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if they just cancelled it entirely

Its nice of them to do that. They did it a few times last semester. An hour gained is precious, especially near thanksgiving break.

The cloud is completely gone. And from what I have heard from people I work with is that once it installation was started it would not take that long.

Convo has actually been really good this year. I'm a commuter but I still go because it's in between classes.

It seems most every student does their best to skip convo or only be present in body. Once you get away from campus, you'll realize what you were missing.

Yeah, once I moved off campus I rarely attended. Looking back, I wish I attended every opportunity I had.

I agree that it has been MUCH better. We have had some amazing speakers: Karen Kingsbury, The Duggars, Monday the founder of Invisible Children was here, Candace Cameron Bure (a 90s reset for most everybody on this board), FF30 already mentioned Francis Chan. They have definitely upgraded convo in the last couple years

only one that was bad was Rick Perry. I'm still waking up from that snoozer.

And this coming from a Rick Perry fan.

I see it being done in under a month. Instillation should not take long (even if it is Liberty construction) Play Basketball

I would agree with you based on my personal experience. I went to LU from 2003-2007 and I never attended, I also wasnt living the life of a Christian at the time so it was not in my mind at all. My life has dramatically changed but looking back Convo was pretty cool.

especially the worship has been great. I've been a christian for a few years now but my problem is that I slowly grow, then fall back, just a repetitive cycle. Convo has really helped me to avoid that this year.

Anyways, I cannot wait for tonight's game, regardless of outcome Play Basketball

According to my contacts its going to take a "weeks" time of no interruptions to get it up. Now I just came from the vines and the "cloud" is now just the main bars and speakers. So I would say they have used a day or two of the week they need....

ha! Is that thing really called the cloud? I can't say I'll miss it but I do have some fond memories of it.

Looking at the men's and women's basketball schedules we probably wont have a real sustained period with nothing going on until about the 23rd of the month until December 1.
