Telep misspelled his name. He's a kid from right by me. SATCH primarily is the big baseball homeschool team but they also compete against publics & privates in a number of sports.

I just flew in really late last night from Chicagonso I'm playing catch-up this AM. I'll post more shortly.

Only a junior, has some room to grow a little bit and put on some muscle. I haven't been able to find a whole lot of information out there on him other than the article posted by ALAFLamesFan.

Kyle would make an obvious comparison based on size and homeschool background. I honestly haven't seen this kid play despite him living right by me. That will change very soon. My son will be deciding whether to play for HCYA or SATCH next year for hoops.

Here's another dated article:

“LAST CALL” for Dynamic Duo

While these brothers will never be confused with Batman and Robin, All-Americans Cody and Ryan Kemrite are a dynamic duo both on and off the court. However, as Cody’s senior year, it will probably be the last season that these 2nd team All-Americans take the hardwood together as teammates.
and the best stuff on Ryan from the article ...
As a freshman, he averaged 14.6 points per game and led the team in 3 point shooting percentage by hitting 41% of his shots from beyond the arc. Ryan finished the season strong by scoring 31 points against the North Atlanta Christian Flight in the final game at Nationals in 2010. Coach Carmona calls Ryan “…one of the fiercest competitors he has seen on the court” and believes now that he is a year older and stronger; he will receive more recognition for his all around play.

We don't want his older brother? :dontgetit If you're looking at the "dynamic duo," wouldn't you prefer Batman :batman over Robin? (sorry, couldn't help the Blair/Dees/Dunton reference).

Are we looking to sign every white guard out there?

I'm pretty sure I saw a girl on the court in that picture;) That's the best picture they got?

I've chatted with several who have seen the kid play on the AAU circuit and he apparently raised eyebrows this summer which has pumped up his stock.

I know some of the kids in the SATCH program from another homeschool deal but they are playing football right now and I don't see them often. But hopefully they can give me a better lowdown.

Sly, that's the best/worst "deer in the headlights" pic that I've ever seen.

I saw this picture taken of a typical Radford fan recently the last time my friends and I attended a Liberty-Radford game at Radford's little gymnasium. http://tremendousnews.com/wp-content/up ... urinal.jpg

I'd rather be a Liberty fan Play Basketball any day of the year than a Radford fan :dontgetit .

Tried to catch him in action today but his team lost last night in tourney here in Houston so they played in consolation bracket this afternoon. Bummer. If they had won Thursday they would have been second half of doubleheader with HCYA in the first game. I would have been there for that with Sly Jr. Alas ...

We'll definitely get to one of his games soon and get some pics & video to share.

Speaking of Ryan Kemrite and who is he, the world will soon know. I am his AAU coach so I have all the info you will need. I think liberty got a steal in a player like Ryan, and I congratulate them on this. The coaching staff was very persistent this summer attending all of our games during the live period. Just to speak stats this year alone, Ryan is avg 28ppg and 8rpg through 4 games. Ryan even had a 22pt performance again Christian Sanders (2012 stanford commit) and his St. Thomas team. Ryan is a 2 time Homeschool all american. This summer Ryan shot 52.5% from 2, 43% from 3, and 81.6% from the line.

Also I have included a link to a highlight tape I made of my team with a section of Ryan during real deal at the rock this past April.

Very few coaches, AAU or otherwise, think their kid is over rated. Most all think their kid is a steal. I'd be more interested in specifics then hyperbole. I do hope this kid is a diamond in the rough, but if the only thing we can find on him is tape from his AAU coach......

i absolutely love it when a home schooled kid that has committed to an evangelical christian university has a highlight film on youtube that is accompanied by rap music laced with profanity!!
