Just found out I am going to be stuck in Wyoming and miss this game. I am sitting in stunned disbelief. I finally get a game within an hour and a half of my house and I can't be there. :banghead

can't think of any good reason to go to Wyoming. Texas is bad enough- what's Wyoming, the "Jersey" of the west?

Don't joke like that Wyoming has the Rockies that makes it waaaaayyyyy better than Jersey.

Funniest line of the week. Thanks!

For the record, I am there on business but Wyoming is one of the most spectacular places in America. You may or may not have heard of a couple of places called Yellowstone & Grand Teton.

Sly, you should know that the Tetons would be wasted on Medic: they're way too tall for him to see down there.

Good point, CJ.

And it appears all my concerns were for naught. I am back on for the season opener in the Greater Bryan/College station metroplex.

Any chance this game is on ESPN3? Would love to be able to watch this game on my hall.

I will resist the urge to make the obvious crack about usually having the Grand Tetons at eye level.

because that would be inappropriate

Texas A&M ranked #20 (AP) and #19 (ESPN/Coaches).

A&M's coach has been diagnosed with Parkinson's and I believe I saw he'll miss the first few games? Regardless, prayers for coach Kennedy.

Yeah, that's devastating news. Hoops is a distant second for Coach Kennedy & his family right now.

Just saw the the game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest. (which means no espn 3)

I have directv and the sports pack, and hopefully they resolve their little battle and I can watch it.

Fox Sports Southwest is the network where you can find me on air from time to time. The game is also gets run on Fox Sports Houston and a slew of the other regional networks.

I think Houston is supposed to switch to comcast sometime soon. But obviously you'd know if I'm wrong on that lol.

I only get the Houston feed when the astros are playing. Directv treats it as a satelite station and thus only carries live events on it.

So is this game going to be online to watch anywhere?

Most likely not, I'm pretty sure fox sports doesn't put their games online.

Trust me, Fox Sports Net most definitely does stream games. If you watch closely enough you'll have a Sly Fox sighting from time to time. They just booked me for some spring events on Friday. But as far as I can tell, this game is not being streamed. Of course, theoretically if someone has a Slingbox and a Sports Package subscription then everyone could benefit.

I am seriously jazzed about the game being only two days away. My entire crew is coming up with me for the game ... way past bedtime for my kids by the time we get home.
