My guess is he is primarily here to be a translator and mentor for Gielo while he adjusts to life at Liberty. Our WBB team had a Lithuanian staffer back in the day for the same reason.

Coach Mrozik had nothing to do with Polish National Team. This is site of the Polish Camp, which took place a few years ago. Last year Mrozik was an assistant coach at Polonia 2011 Warszawa - http://www.polonia2011.waw.pl/sztab.html , team focusing on the development of young players.

Thanks for the clarification, Kosi. Perhaps this indicates a continuing focus on Polish talent moving forward.

Coach Mrozik for many years helps Polish players to get to the NCAA/USA and with Tomek it was the same.

Pawel is a Graduate Assistant for the basketball team. From what I understand, he made Gielo's decision to come to Liberty much more comfortable.

As for Karnowski- Gielo will play the biggest part in LU landing the big man. They played together last year and are pretty close. We'll see if he even ends up coming to the states or just stays over seas and plays pro.
