Sean had multiple and-one dunks, and flushed a few that brought the crowd to their feet. Culkin has a great body, and is an explosive athlete and does a good job of using that to finish around the rim and grab rebounds. When Sean develops a consistent three point shot, some midrange scoring moves, and tightens his handle, the Indian Rocks Christian wing will make a name for himself.

I like the way he seems to have be SLIGHTLY thick, not quite as "bean-pole" skinny as alot of the guys we recruit imo must come from playing football

“It was great,” Culkin said. “Coach Fitzgerald is very nice. I like the program a lot. The campus is nice. I like the academics a lot. That’s a big part.”
Culkin (6-6, 210) has picked offers from Liberty and Samford, and has also picked up interest from Northwestern, Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, South Florida, and a list of others.

This weekend, Culkin was in nearby Deerfield with his Florida Rams AAU team for the Chicago Best Buy Classic. During some downtime, Culkin and Rams teammate Traveon Henry—who holds a NU offer—made the short trek to Evanston to see Northwestern’s campus.

The two met with Pat Fitzgerald for some time. Culkin—a tight end prospect—also met with NU superbacks coach Bob Heffner. In the end, they also met with some Wildcat players.

For Culkin, academics are the most important thing to find in a program, so seeing how Northwestern values academics in their football program really stood out.

“I like how they keep academics as a big priority in the program,” Culkin said.

Culkin also has some connections to the Evanston area. His father is a native of Chicago, so for Culkin, it was nice to return back to the Chicagoland area.

Despite being a talented basketball player, Culkin says his desire is to play football.

In his junior season with Indian Rocks Christian, Culkin finished with 28 catches for 547 yards and nine touchdowns.
