Radford is a team with no one scoring in double digits. If LU does not beat them by 20 or 30 points, we should be ashamed.

I second that. Just play to win the game boys

. Do we clinch #2 with this win?

I'm not expecting a blowout. We struggled against their zone at the Dedmon, and they have actually played us better at the Vines the last 2 years. They also just beat Winthrop, so they should be feeling pretty good about themselves. We need a win, and we should get it.

We would clinch over CSU and UNCA. There would still be a mathematical chance for Winthrop if they won out and we lost our last 4. We would both be 12-6, and would have split head to head, but to win out means they beat Coastal, which would be the second tiebreaker. It's a VERY long shot.

So was a 3-way tie for the BSC champion in football. We got hosed in that one, so I'm not holding my breath.

We will be #2. You don't have to hold your breath. It WILL happen.

The football tie only involved one loss by each team. This would require that we lose 4 out of 5 and Winthrop win 5 straight. That's really a huge difference.

This is one of those games that we (as fans) shouldn't even be considering losing. No IF's about it.
On a sidenote: I'm so happy to see Greenberg suffer. Cheaters Never Win. Just wish Ali was there to feel this pain too. Anyone know where he went? I would Google him, but Im afraid of what kind of Taliban site I would end up on.

Technically they win but the results are vacated 5-10 years down the road.

Not being an expert on our traditional rivalries, I still seem to perecive that RU is our most hated
ooponent. This should be a very enjoyable blowout for LU fans across the country.

Sure, in every sport except football.
I don't see many LU and CCU fans joining hands and singing
Blest Be The Tie during football season, that's for sure.

This will not be a blowout. And I'm a bit concerned this could be a trap game. If we stay focused, we should win by 15. If not... look out. Radford has a terrible record, but they have been playing better as of late. Say what you will about Winthrop this year, but RU beat them.

Yeah, I understand. Is a 15 point win a blowout? Probably, if the lead was comfortable all game & you cleared the bench. I'll take 15, and granting the "trap" concept, I believe the Flames will be on fire for this one.

Depends on what "blowout" is. Also depends on the meaning of the word "is" is.

OK - am I even allowed to admit that I found that comment to be hilarious?

Seems like a likeable guy who didn't discipline himself as he should. Nobody would want to be put under the microscope like he was. But.... always gets a chuckle
