But if you don't expect to be exciting, then every win is more meaningful, and every loss has an excuse attached. It's a win/win.
I agree. This team is exciting and talented right now. But we won't be getting a ton of these awards. Not a lot of stat sheet fillers. Just hard nosed basketball.

I think you are right on that lefty. BSC awards are about 2 things. Stats (mainly scoring) and taking turns. Noone has won POW twice this year.
Having said that, If you look at the big picture, Jesse's stats in conference this year border on amazing. Based on what other team's coaches are saying, he is also rapidly becoming the most respected opposing player in the league. We'll see how that translates come award time in March.

I don't care about stat sheet stuffers. I only care about Ws. During this unbelievable run Winthrop has been on the last 10-12 years or so they haven't had many stat sheet stuffers.

That is true manson, and their players have probably not won as many awards as they deserved. I don't think they care either.

I've always told you guys that you worry too much about the individual awards, and whether the conference gives you guys any respect (and I tell that to some WU fans too)....if you win games and championships, those awards become an afterthought.
That being said, I've been very impressed with how the Sanders brothers have been playing lately.

Agreed, team wise .... Stats = nothing
Wins = everything.
The team is doing great... forget everything else, with the one caveat, that I hate to see players not given their due.
