BOILING SPRINGS – Gardner-Webb has lost leading scorer Jon Moore indefinitely to an injury suffered in Saturday’s game at Arizona State.

Moore, a 6-foot-4 senior from Rogers, Ark., went down with just under 17 minutes to play at Arizona State and did not return. He is schedule to have surgery on Dec. 15 and will begin rehabilitation with hopes of returning sometime during Big South Conference play.

Huge blow to our scoring....not that we were going to run people out of the building anyway. Moore is a good kid to, from walk on to earning a scholly. Maybe you guys will see him the second time around up there.

The article does not say what kind of injury or surgery. Is it a secret?

Hoping it's not one of those Radford "injuries".

Broken bone in his foot....with a good rehab, he could be back by early Feb.

Is Jon Moore still out, or will he be in the G-W lineup tomorrow night?

He's been back for a game or two already.

Went 1-11 with 2 points at VMI. He's getting his feet back under him. I wouldn't expect a repeat performance tomorrow evening.
