Dillon Graham, a 6’2 guard, from the Orlando First Academy, is receiving a lot of recruiting attention from college coaches during the beginning of his junior year. Dillon averaged 15.5 points, 3.2 assists, and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 50.4% from the three point line and 81% from the free as a sophomore. Graham helped lead First Academy to a 24-4 record, earning 3rd team All State, and 3rd team All Area by the Orlando Sentential.

Dillon earned valuable experience and exposure this spring and summer playing 16’s and 17’s for the prestigious Each 1 Teach 1 summer travel basketball program. The Austin River’s led Each 1 Teach 1 program captured the AAU Super Showcase championship live on ESPN in July.

according to rivals Liberty is one of the favorites

Graham uses the plural "Princeton Coaches" went to Fairfield. Seems like we will get at least one assistant from Princeton (Tony Newsome, Brian Earl????)

Graham has a couple offers - North Florida, Jacksonville and Liberty University. Iowa, Wyoming, Xavier, Providence, Davidson, Appalachian State and Rhode Island are all involved, as well. There's quite a few others showing interest, too.

Ivy League, huh? I hope he is checking into Liberty's Honors Program. If it was good enough for Rob Attaway and Sam Gado, it should be good enough for Dillon.

Wish we could have closed a deal on a commitment before his stock took off this summer ...
Louisville (KY) Courier-Journal wrote:The 6-4 Graham plays at First Academy in Orlando and was under the radar until he helped the Florida Rams-Black win this month’s adidas Invitational in Indianapolis.

Graham has also added scholarship offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Miami, Maryland and Florida State. He previously had offers from North Florida and Liberty.

Graham said he talked to Pitino, who extended the offer and told him he liked the way Graham was “a team player.”

“I shoot the three well, or so I am told,” Graham said. “But I am pretty smart with the ball, and coaches say they like that. I’m not selfish. I’m not a guy that is going to shoot the ball 20 times a game or anything like that.”
