I know I'm jumping ahead but why is this game set for 9:00pm on a Thursday (Dec 2)? What am I missing?

EDIT: I edited the title of this thread so we could keep game threads separate from other discussion - TDDance234

Usually a 9:00 tipoff is to accomodate TV.

There are those of us who can’t make it to Lynchburg during the weeknight games and appreciate the TV.

I appreciate any TV coverage that is available and MASN is on the DirecTV sports package.

It would normally be on the Liberty Channel

And who gets that channel? Not DirecTV, not Dish, not FiOS.

If you're in Lynchburg, you should be at the game. Wish DTV would pickup the Liberty Channel.

I usually am at the games, although I will admit having it on free TV makes it easy/tempting to stay home if it's been a tough day at work.

What he said. The Liberty Channel doesn't help those of us out of town. MASN does, so I love this late start time 8)

just a hypothetical, but what if this game was on tuesday, would they still move it even if it would violate hall meeting/curfew?

Yes. They would likely allow students to be out past curfew if they went to the game.

The 9 PM Start is because it is the second game of a MASN Big South double header. Ray and I usually try not to be homers but this particular game is set up as a Big South sponsored game and not a Liberty Flames Sports Network game.

Also Manson will be happy to know that we have 13 games on MASN that we are televising this year including 2 road games. I am really looking forward to getting back on the air and I hope all of you out of town get to watch!

basically the rest of the division 1 home games and the Radford and VMI Road games. I was checking the grid for Saturday's game on MASN at 7 PM and I don't see it on there yet. I'll have to check to make sure they are picking that one up for sure.

Boo to FamilyNet! They were my connection. Guess I will have to live with channelsurfing for the MASN games.
