2011-12 Schedule

Layer mentioned on the callin show last night that we only have 2 more games to be scheduled for next year. He mentioned that we would be in the Coaches vs. Cancer event with one road game and 3 home games. Other games mentioned include @Richmond, @William & Mary, vs. Hampton, vs. UNC Wilmington. By my count that leaves 4 more non-conference games. Hopefully those 4 will consist of 1-2 guarantee games and no more than 2 sub D1games.
It’s setting up to be a great schedule.

One of those non-conference games will be against our Bracketbusters opponent, so maybe 2 guarantee games and 1 Sub-D1?

Coach Eaker had a number of television games listed on a tweet yesterday so it must be pretty well nailed down. In fact, he even gave a shout out to Scar.

Next season Liberty Basketball will have over 22 Nationally Televised Games. Our program keeps growing in so many ways!
We found out recently that FTN (Flames Television Network) is taking it's show on the road next year with Bruce Carey, Scar, & Co

FWIW, rumor down this way is G-W is going to play in some sort of tournament at Hinkle Fieldhouse in November and may face Butler in the process. We'll see.
I'm still wondering how KK and the conference will screw up the scheduling with Campbell coming in.

If you're gonna fit your head thru them, you better go up a few neck sizes on those cute pink shirts of yours

Gonna need some new clothes too Medic. Maybe I'll have to stop downtown in Philly for Memorial Day weekend. And Coach Layer likes the pink shirts haha.

I have awesome news... well at least for me. One of Liberty's away games will be none other than my current employer At the sports arena in Atlanta. I don't have details yet but it will be a OOC at Georgia State. I'll let you guys know when I know details.

Cool ... as much time as I have been spending in Atlanta lately for work perhaps I can sneak in a game there as well.

The FSN crew/Barber were there yesterday. I think this also means YOU will be there!

I love their building. I played in a celebrity hoops event back in the day when I lived up there and I played for the radio station team. That team had Andre' Dawkins SR (Duke JR's dad), Tony Dawkins, Henry Dawkins and Larry Dawkins as well. Dre might have been a baby at the time.
I can't wait to see the full and final schedule. It will be interesting to see where we go.

I've heard it was a possibility but not clear either way. I would love a trip to Texas though! With 3 Texas residence on the team it would be pretty nice to get them back there again.
