October, 2009: If you were in the gym at the 2009 Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp you heard the commotion that Johnson was creating with his high flying antics that caused a stir amongst the onlookers in attendance. Although he is more athlete than basketball player at the moment he does things athletically in transition that you can't teach. If he grows to the 6-6 range he will be a sought after high major recruit regardless of skill level because he is a big-time finisher. He needs to get in the gym and work on his skills and fundamentals if he wants to take the growth factor out of the equation. With his quickness and body type he could be an outstanding defender that, because of his leaping ability, guards the ball and contests (in his case blocks) shots. There is a long way to go for this young man, but he seems to have the right demeanor to get it done.Rivals Profile -
