From Chris' Notebook ...
I'm loving the in-state CAA home dates and of course the trips down here to Texas. Of course, the only Division I venue that could possibly have been farther from Houston in the Lone Star State than Tech & South Padre would be UTEP. It looks like we'll be headed to the Rio Grande Valley after dining on turkey. Not sure I can swing a trip to Lubbock the same week.
You would think this would be right up the alley of SumItUp and yours truly but it is a long way to each for both of us. In fact, I wonder if a game at the Vines Center would almost be closer for SumItUp than South Padre?
In any event, I am stoked to have a driving distance couple of games on the schedule for us as well as the Sanders & Baird families.

The highlights next season are home games with CAA teams William & Mary and George Mason. The Flames will travel to UNC Wilmington and participate in the South Padre Island Invitational in Texas.
The South Padre tournament is similar to the multi-team events the Flames participated in the last two seasons in Chicago and Las Vegas. Liberty will open with games at Texas Tech and at South Florida before convening in Texas with three other teams to be determined for the final two games on Thanksgiving weekend.
Layer said he expects there to be three non-Division I home games on schedule, down from four last year.
