Because discussions of our scholarship situation and other matters have been taking threads for specific recruits off topic, I thought I'd start one for general discussion about this Spring's recruiting. The signing period is from April 14 through May 19.

I'm expecting a minimum of 2 and as many as 4 signees. Without naming names, to the best of my knowledge Layer had decided after the season ended not to renew the scholarships of 2 current players. Since then 2 others have indicated they are likely to transfer. As a result, it is possible that one of those who was originally not going to be renewed may now have the opportunity to stay on scholarship. The other will not. It is also possible that if Tyler is granted a 6th year there may be a scholarship for him now.
