Graham is a Freshman this year. Unless they have changed the rule, he has to have his associate degree to play immediatly on transferring to a 4 year school.

yeah, im not familiar with the rules but from reading the high school article, UNCW wanted him to go there for a year.
Maybe there is somewhere in the rule book where he can transfer after his freshmen year and be eligible????

i have no idea why UNCW would tell him that if he cant transfer after a year.

Normally, a JUCO player who transfers after one season has to sit out a year, just like an NCAA transfer, and then would have 3 years of eligibility. It's possible that by going to summer school he could get his Associate degree early and play right away.
