Here's an interesting article about Antonin and his coach Carlos Peralta, who is also a pastor. It certainly looks like Charis Prep could be a potential source of talent for LU in the future.

I think I met him with RD at a football game with some of his players. Seemed like a great relationship that was established.

We do have a very good relationship with Charis Prep. I have been down there before to meet with their administration and continue to relationship build. They have had EVERY high profile coach in that little gym at some point or another. Their coach is a great man with a heart for Liberty University, he even mentioned how he'd pick up his school today and put it in Lynchburg to be close to Liberty if it was possible.

All that to say this. CP is not a relationship of the past, it is stronger now then it ever has been...he loves our current staff.

Our only CP recruit to date didn't pan out too well (Armon Jones), but then some coaches need to see a player at the college level for 2 or 3 years to accurately evaluate whether they have D1 talent. :roll:

I heard it was more of a set shot
