Kyle Ohman's last regular season home game as a Flame is this Saturday against High Point.

I know we all feel like High Point is out of our league based on the whooping we got in Millis, but they are a horrible road team. They match up well enough with us, but they won't be able to do the things they do in Millis, in the Vines. They are also a streaky team, watching their game against CSU it just seems like they fall asleep for minutes at a time. I know we do that, too, but it's something we can exploit.

They run the floor and spread the floor very well. If we don't get out in transition, we're in trouble. As well, we need to work the offense and attack the lane. Getting Cruz and Law in foul trouble hurts their offense a lot, since the offense is predicated on the post drawing attention away from their shooters (Barbour, Harris, etc.) However, they do run an offense that can explot some of our weaknesses. I am sure Dale has watched the same tape I have, and much much more. But I think we have a good shot at winning this game.

Huge game in terms of any attempt to get a home game in the BS (statistically).

Also, I think a big game in terms of mental framework going into the last two games on the road.

Despite the earlier drubbing, I believe this one will be close, with someone making a play or two in the last couple of minutes.

I don't sell these Flames short against anybody in the league.

Im sure I speak for a lot of people when I say Im thankful for Kyle being a part of the program the last four years. To see him develop from a walk-on to a team leader has been inspiring to say the least. He certainly will be missed and I hope we send him out on a winning note.

Also, its nights like this one that I feel for Tyler Baker. He worked so hard to get himself back to playing shape after all those injuries and then to see his last year cut short beause of another injury...Hope he gets better and can make something good of himself after he leaves the mountain.

It will be interesting to see whether Tyler is recognized along with Kyle. While he could potentially be granted another year of eligibility and play next year, I'm wondering if he plans on pursuing it at this point.

I would love to see TB back next year. We'd be the deepest 4-5 in the Big South. Pat, Antwan, Carter, Joel, Tyler, Bill, Baird, all capable of playing minutes.

i would love to see him back as well, but i dont know how effective Bake would be... i mean injuries dont just go away, and it seems like he is just prone to it....

i wish nothing but the best for him, and i could see him coming back next year to be a mentor type for guys like joel and baird.... just dont know how effective his playing will be

I think giving him 5-10 a game would be great. Senior leadership, knows the system, hard working.

not being close to the situation in the least, I'd say there's no way he's granted a 6th year. From what I've seen, they're pretty stingy with those and they don't give a flip about LU or Baker.

Actually, the NCAA seems to be getting a bit more lenient in giving out 6th years. Witness recent examples on our football team; Sene and Childress. It is supposed to be granted for a "medical hardship". I would thing if anyones situation meets that description, it's Tylers.

Tyler's the textbook case for a 6th year. I don't know if he'll apply for it or not though.

Childress was a 5th year, not 6th.

I believe the way VMI was able to beat High point twice was not to let Barbour and Harris go hog-wild with the scoring Study . VMI "held" those two to a combined 31 points on Tuesday. Law killed us inside, Daniels had fine numbers as well. Plus Kenon being on fire was huge in the VMI win Tuesday. Good luck tonite Play Basketball . Loser can kiss good-bye any chance for 4th place.
