I think we get a dub tonight.. Gardner-Webb did just lose to VMI on Thursday..

I think so too.

Gardner-Webb did also lose by 36 to Coastal last Thursday but turned around two days later and beat Chuck South on the road. And CSU has only lost two home games.

LU in a close ugly game. Expect a game in the 60's, with bunches of turnovers for both sides, although G-W will definitely lead in that category.

We shot 65% for the game, 50% from 3-point range, and only beat CSU by 9, our only win in our last six. Hopefully the mediocrity this season will lead to a regime game in Boling Springs that we've needed since the NCAA probation of 2004.

We got 3" of snow last evening here, it has been melting nicely all day, but the slush on the roads will refreeze, I'm not sure I'll even venture over there this evening with the treacherous conditions. We haven't drawn well at home all year anyway, and the weather won't help. The SID at G-W loves to inflate the basketball attendance figures, no way in hades that there were over 1,000 in the building for VMI Thursday.

Of course, it isn't rocket science to know that Porter Arena holds just under 3,000, even though G-Webb lists that it holds anywhere between 3,500 - 4,000 depending on what you read.

Evan scores quickly to give us the 2-0 lead. Haley then hits from 3 for G-W.

Jeremy is fouled and will shoot 2. He makes both 4-3 LU.

Burrus dunks after a G-W turnover and it's 6-3. Henley scores inside to cut it to one.

Jeremy's 3 makes it 9-5. We get a steal, and Konan a dunk off an offensive board. 11-5. Media timeout.

Jesse draws the foul; shooting 2. He makes one and it's 12-5.

Burrus rebounds G-w gets a steal and a bucket by Moore. Evan misses.

Silver is fouled. He makes 1-2 and jesse rebounds. Jeremy misses and Jesse comitts his second foul going after the rebound.

Evan called for traveling. Burrus fouls Moore. Carter and Kyle now in. Moore makes 2 to make it 12-10 LU.

Evan makes it 14-10 on a drive. 11:25 to play. Carter fouls McMillan. media timeout.

McMillen makes 1-2 and it's 14-11, but they rebound and McMillan scores. 14-13.

Flittner from 3 and G-W leads 16-14.

Kyle ties it on his first basket and then quickly scores again, but Silver scores fom 3 to put G-W up 19-18.

21-18 G-W after McMillen scores inside. Kyle travels.

Minaya in the game. He rebounds the G-W miss and is fouled. Media timeout. Only 4 team fouls on G-W. They are already in the bonus as we have 7.

Burrus misses inside. Silver from 3 again, and G-W leads by 6 with 7 minutes in the half.

Burrus with a hook. 24-20. Kyle draws a charge.

We turn it over. Silver misses, and Burrus scores inside. 24-22.

G-W offensive foul. Then we turn it over at Antwan steps on the baseline.
