Interesting comments on Minaya. Without really coming out and saying it, he seemed to make it pretty clear that the reason he hasn't been playing much is his defense. Not exact quotes but close: "Sometimes the box score doesn't give the whole picture." "He needs to be tougher." "He can score the ball."

On big Art "He's really big.................. and he's really good."

bigsmooth radford is the better team and we will when by alot on saturday night. then amir will break into your buss and still all of your players ipods. after that big art will learn a new word in english. the only thing that the flamers have going for them is that they can use the bathroom without wanting to scream in pain because of how bad it burns.

Anyways... I think there's always the chance we COULD win. If Evan decides to start playing his full offensive game and we get 10-15 out of Chris, and Jeremy finds his 3 in the BioDome... but thats a lot of if's. I just hope we don't get embarrassed.

Possibly the funniest thing I've seen on a board..... maybe ever. At least you all have two things going for you all..... a decent bball program for 1 (maybe 2) more years, and comedians. I should read more from your board more often, I'm always up for a good .

Last time I was on Liberty's campus was 2004 so I could be wrong about the sheds. They are gone? Let me guess, Condemned?

they aren't gone...i wish they were though...but the east campus dorms are very nice...

knvb, you guys only come on here during basketball because the rest of your athletics program is a joke and until last year your hoops has not been so stellar. yeah you guys are the champs and you should beat us, but next time you want to run smack on our school at least know how much the campus has changed in 2004! no cider, not making the trip tonight

smack talk put aside, my feelings are RU is the best team in the league though im curious on any highlander fans thoughts on the big south games you did lose because on paper Coastal appears to be the only team that could really hang with you guys, but the majority of your conference games have been close. have you guys not "clicked" yet?

Those are certainly some gaudy numbers the "big 3" have put up. I'd be interested in hearing opinions from the RU guys as well on why what appear to be "lesser" teams have played them so tough. On the surface it would seem to be at least partly lack of perimeter offense. I don't know how much man to man they play vs zone, but I would think those big guys may also have some problems matching up defensively with quicker forwards who can shoot. Clearly, the teams that have beaten or hung with them have done their damage from outside.

is there any chance of this game getting sold out? me and a friend are going, and the ticket link on Radford's athletic page isn't working. So I figured i'd just buy them there

if you are travelling to the big hefty bag make sure you do not have any open cuts. we have diseases that the cdc has not diagnosed that can infect you upon driving on campus.
