Expectations for this week (at PC, at Winthrop)

I think this could be fun to do every week. What do you expect from this week's games? Who do you think will be the big players in these games?

I'll be satisfied with a split. I do think we can win both, but it would not surprise me if we lost both either.

I'd like to see Burris build on the momentum he has going for him. As for who steps up, it seems this is the first year in which we have a multitude of players who can come in and do a good job for us. My bet is that KO finds his stroke sometime this week.

Does everyone think we'll see the same general rotation that seemed to work against VMI?

Not necessarily. VMIs style dictated that to a large extent, and Presby and WU play a very different game. I think both Konan and McMasters will see more minutes than they did against the Keydets.

I think we can win both. I won't predict that we will, but these are both winnable games. However, I will say we win Presby and lose Winthrop. Chris Perez and Antwan will continue their hot streak from VMI against the Blue Hose, but the team will be held down by Winthrop in Rock Hill, as usual, and we'll lose a low scoring close one.

Anybody coming down to Rock Hill on Saturday?

And yeah, as somebody said earlier in the thread, it's hard to get a read on your rotation when you play VMI...especially when you have PC and WU coming up. WU and PC play a very similar style, and that style is almost the direct opposite of how the Keydets like to play.

we will beat PC...but WU is up in the air, it could go either way with that game

I'd say guys have about a 50% chance of sweeping. If you can hit some shots early against Winthrop and score over 60, you should be fine. Just have to find a way to keep them off the offensive glass. The games that I have watched, their best offense seems to come from rebounding missed shots.

Haven't watched Presbyterian play this year. But nobody seems to play well in Clinton.

I don't like your chances in Rock Hill...You are a better team than Presby but playing in Clinton for whatever reason, is easier said than done.

PC should be a win. It depends on which team shows up at Winthrop. We've been so hot and cold this year.

If the team that was on the floor for the 2nd half against VMI shows up, we can compete with anyone in the Big South.

This same trip last year we went 0-2. I'm expecting the same, but hoping for 1-1.

If WU's offense doesn't show up like usual, then you guys have a good shot at going 2-0 this week.

I say we have a 25% chance of losing both, 50% of splitting, and 25% of winning both.

Whatever happens, it seems like Coach & the boys are off to a pretty good start, especially in light of the big picture & all of the fears coming in. Give Coach an "A" thus far.

Well, we got what most of us expected this week.

3-2 with 2 road wins. Our next 2 are at home and very winnable against what appears to be 2 teams that will be at or near the basement w/ PC.
