Last non conference home game for the boys before taking a break for Christmas.

I can't compare it that far back, but this is probably the worst 3-game stretch of opponents I can remember us playing.

Second that. I'm a huge sports fan and I'm having trouble recognizing these schools. Man - who's next... Wilheimer Prep? Come on - I know confidence is key, but man can we at least play Lynchburg College, Roanoke College, Hampton Sydney, Longwood, or Brookville just to make it locally interesting?

Does anyone know how to pronounce this school's name? I've never heard of it before this season.

Men's CC - 3 wins, 0 losses

Men's Soccer - 1 win, 1 tie
Women's Soccer - 1 win, 0 losses
Men's Indoor Track - 1 win, 0 losses
Women's Inddor Track - 1 win, 0 losses

Of course our friend from Radford was probably referring to Men's basketball, so might I add that the last time we played them in that it was also an LU win, and the time before that a 2OT loss after a horrible call.

We haven't played yet this year, but although most of us agree that Radford deserved their role as conference favorites, they didn't exactly wow people in winning squeakers over Winthrop and Presby.

I know - but I wouldn't brag if we had one winning team on campus and talk trash. They have found a way to be competitive in one sport - woohoo!!!!

My apologies, I thought I was on a Men's Basketball forum. Congratulations on Liberty's Womens Table Tennis domination...we are all very impressed.

Wait so now we are talking about last year? How did that work out for Liberty if you do want to discuss it. Should I bring up games from years past too?


Yes Radford struggled to win it's first two road conference games, better than losing by double digits in a no contest at home, no? Trifunovic now has a couple games under his belt and his wrist is fully healed...We'll know a lot more about our team this week after we play JMU and Bill & Mary.

Yes, the CCU game was disappointing. We'll see how well you guys do against them next month. They have improved a LOT.

Completely agree they are better than I thought they would be however I think we match up with them well...I'll take our bigs over theirs all day.

Any team that can get out, run, and finish is going to give RU a hard time. They (RU ) are looking a lot like the Russian mafia !

Those matchups can work both ways. We played most of the time against RU last year with a really small lineup and played them to a standoff. They hurt us with size, we hurt them with quickness and shooting. I agree with panfan that RU will get burned if they try to go full time with 3 bigs.

So your saying that the most important and only sport is basketball? You don't care if your other sports win? If I remember right - Radford has only been good in basketball for a few years out of the last 15 or so?? But I will make one bet - if history serves - we would dominate Radford in Table tennis too...so let's add it.
