The final stretch of non conference games kicks off this weekend as the Knights come to Vines. Last time KCU came was 2007-2008 and LU won 84-45.

I think that this is a definite win for us tonight and hopefully a confidence booster after last weeks game.

The local fishwrap featured a COLOR half-page ad for the game. It's model? Bill Weaver.

Glad I get to kill part of a Saturday by going to this game. I hope this will really help our team improve.

Let's hope Jeremy can knock them down like that for the rest of the season (during games).

He wasn't really knocking them down very well. In practice shooters should be able to hit them at a 70% clip or so.

Watch the whole video and focus on him. He'll miss 3-4 in a row then drain about 6-7 in a row. I saw him make 9/10 quite a few times.

Let's just hope he's able to start knocking them down in games like he did 2 years ago.

Apparently Kentucky Christian's top two scorers are out for today.
This game is listed as an exhibition for them.

Will never forget while working with the Bullets watching Legler shoot!! He was the best shooter I have ever seen. We would stand on the sides in practice and before games, and wager on how many 3's he'd make in a row - he would go 10-15 straight every time... Once I remember him hitting 27 in a row.

I know this team is young but man do they struggle with ball control. It always looks to me like they are forcing things that aren't there. I hope they gain a ton of confidence over the next few games.

Looks like Jeremy came motivated to play a team from his home state ... 4-of-5 from behind the arc so far int he 1st half.
Yeah nice to see JA shooting it well. Hopefully this will get his confidence back.

With 7 minutes to play Jesse needs one point and 1 rebound for a triple double. Oh, by the way, we're up 80-28.

Jesse back in the game with less than 3 minutes. He makes 2 FT. Needs a board for the triple double.

Yeah, Spencer missed the FT that would have given us 100, and nobody cared because Jesse got the rebound.

Before Jesse passed the ball in to James when James got fouled, he looked at him and said something like, "I'm going right to the glass." And he did.
That last 90 seconds was fun just watching Jesse try to get the rebound.

Fun game to watch, but most of our fans were either studying for finals or Christmas shopping. JE said the official attendace was 900-something for a Saturday afternoon game.
