Gordon shows he’s no flash in pan for Flames

For whatever reason, the external expectations for Evan Gordon were much lower than those levied upon former Liberty guard Seth Curry.

Both had famous fathers. Evan’s father Eric played at Liberty; Seth’s father Dell played in the NBA. Both had accomplished siblings. Evan’s brother Eric Jr., was a lottery pick of the Los Angeles Clippers, and Seth’s brother Stephen single-handedly put Davidson basketball on the national map.

Based on Evan Gordon's 21-point game and last week's article about him in the News and Advance, it looks as if he's going to be a solid player. I haven't been to any games yet. So perhaps someone who's seen him play could answer this question. Does he look as if he will be a consistent scorer or is he primarily a defensive specialist or both?

Potentially both, but the last game against Coastal he was held to only 6 points.
