Football was being shown on FamilyNet and JCTV. Are there any similar arrangements for basketball?

I believe the answer is yes ... at least for FamilyNet. Not sure if that is official yet or not.

I think it's still on. My Mom's Liberty Channel newsletter had something about women's basketball. If they are showing women's they sure would show men's.

I know we will be covering 12 games this season. We don't have the Clemson game obviously due to ESPN coming in and there are a few non division 1's that we are not doing. We are doing the Southern VA opener though. I won't be on the air for the Coastal game either because I am in a wedding. That one is on MASN I believe too. Not sure about the FamilyNet thing. I hope they pick them all up but they didn't do any basketball last year.

Any news on the G-M game, or just listening to it?

Even though Clemson killed us, that game was excellent for LU as an institution. They have talked about LU all day on ESPN. That is an example of why athletics is good for a school from a business standpoint. We just got prime air time during a Duke game on ESPN for free. That is worth thousands of dollars.

Can anyone tell me if our games are on FamilyNet? I know football was on but I wasn't sure if they were covering our hoops games. Seems like I would know right? I know I thought the same thing about myself.

All I can tell you is that right now my U-verse guide has Happy Days & Family Ties running when the ODU would be on. Of course about half the time they haven't had the football game listed either and it has always been on there.

I have sent multiple e-mails and left voicemails with FamilyNet and they have not responded. Their website had Liberty football information (and still does 2 1/2 weeks after the last broadcast). I don't think there is going to be any on FamilyNet this year.

OK, I just looked at their website again and there are some new Liberty Basketball graphics and a link that goes to the libertyflames.com basketball page. Now it's looking good that we'll being watching some on FamilyNet. There is no television schedule yet.
